Handheld:
Images of Logitech’s cloud gaming handheld leaked early this morning, but were quickly removed after Logitech filed a DMCA complaint.
Three images of the device were shared by Evan Blass on Twitter, but the tweet now simply has “Media not displayed” in their place. However, they were available long enough to reveal some key features of the forthcoming device, which Logitech teased earlier this month.
The handheld is being developed through a partnership between Logitech G and Tencent Games. Logitech is providing the hardware while Tencent handles the software and services side. There is also the promise of multiple cloud gaming services being supported, including Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia’s GeForce Now.
As The Verge reports, the leaked images reveal the device is roughly the same size as a Nintendo Switch and has a similar interface. Shots of the display show icons for Xbox, Nvidia, Steam, Chrome, and YouTube. The device will also have access to Google Play, suggesting Android games will be available to play.
Other details revealed in this leak include the handheld being white, it has two analog thumb sticks, a D-Pad, A, B, X, and Y buttons, two bumpers and two triggers on the shoulder, Logitech, home, menu, and context menu buttons, and potentially a microSD card slot for additional storage.

No Game Pass:
The Callisto Protocol developer, Striking Distance Studios, considered adding its upcoming horror game to Xbox Game Pass, but “as a single-player linear game, it’s really hard to be successful in those types of services.”
Xbox Game Pass is a service that has taken the world by storm since it launched in 2017, but in a recent interview with Striking Distance Studios’ chief technology officer Mark James, we were told that the service is a difficult place for independent linear single-player games like The Callisto Protocol, so don’t expect it to make our list of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2022 and 2023.

App update:
The Xbox mobile app for iOS and Android is getting a major upgrade to its search engine.

The update, which is available right now for beta users, improves the algorithm that powers game searches.

Search for games on the Xbox app has been notoriously bad up until this point, igniting the console wars between PlayStation and Xbox fans since the PlayStation is relatively good at finding what you want.
